To make your notary appointment as quick and easy as possible, please have the following ready:

Make sure all signers are present: Every person whose signature requires notarization must be present and able to communicate directly with the notary. Please ensure all required signers are available when the appointment begins.

Arrange for required witnesses: If your document requires witnesses in addition to notarization, please have the required witnesses available. Unless other arrangements have been made in advance, the signer is responsible for providing witnesses.

Please bring the following specific documents and items:

Unexpired government-issued photo ID: This is crucial for identity verification.
All pages of the document: Bring the complete document that needs notarization.
Signature pages: Ensure these are clearly identified.
Attachments and exhibits: Any supporting documents should also be present.
Any required notarial certificates: If specific certificates are needed, have them ready.
Any additional documents that need to be notarized: Bring all documents requiring our service. Do not sign documents in advance unless you have been specifically instructed to do so, as some notarizations require the signer to sign in the notary's presence.

The signer must be able to:

• Communicate directly with the notary
• Understand what document they are signing
• Willing to sign the document voluntarily
• Respond appropriately to the notary's questions
• Satisfy the notary's identification requirements

If the signer appears unable to understand the transaction or is being pressured to sign, the notary mayt be required to decline the notarization.

Please have all documents ready for notarization before the notary arrives.

Do not add, remove, or change information at the last minute without discussing it with the notary.  Changes to the documents may affect whether the notarization can be completed.

A notary can perfoorm the requested notarial act and complete the notarial certificate, but a notary who is not an attorney cannot provide legal advice or explain the legal meaning or effect of your documents.

Please be prepared to pay the agreed-upon notarial and applicable travel fees at the appointment.Your total expected charges should be discussed before the appointment.

For mobile appointments, please provide:

• Correct street address
• Building, apartment, or suite number
• Gate or access instructions, if applicable
• A reliable phone number
• Any special parking or entry instructions

For hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other large facilities, please provide the facility name and specific location of the signer.

• There will be multiple signers
• Multiple documents requre notarization
• Witnesses are required
• The signer has difficulty hearing, speaking, seeing, or communicating
• The appointment is at a hospital or care facility
• There are unusual access or security requirements
• You have questions about the identification requirements

Providing this information in advance helps us determine whether additional arrangements are needed.
